Comprehensive EPC Services by KIPL
Quick Answer: Under an EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) contract, one contractor takes responsibility for the entire project — design, material procurement, fabrication, civil work, erection and commissioning — and hands over a working facility. The advantage is single-point accountability: on split contracts most disputes and delays appear at the boundary between one party’s scope and the next, typically where the fabricator’s steel meets someone else’s erection or civil work. EPC suits industrial projects where programme certainty matters more than tendering each package separately.
Comprehensive EPC Services by Kishore Industries (KIPL)
Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) is a clear form of contracting in the building industry. Under an EPC contract, the engineering and construction contractor completes the entire engineering design of the project, acquires all necessary tools and materials, and constructs the facility to deliver a fully operational asset to the client.
KIPL’s Turnkey EPC Solutions
Kishore Industries (KIPL) has recognized the growing market demand for turnkey solutions in the EPC sector. We have established our EPC division with a team of highly experienced professionals to meet this demand effectively.

What does EPC mean?
EPC stands for Engineering, Procurement and Construction — a single contract under which one party designs the facility, buys the materials and equipment, and builds it. The owner deals with one organisation carrying responsibility for the whole outcome, rather than coordinating a designer, several suppliers and a contractor separately.
What is the advantage of an EPC contract over separate contracts?
Single-point responsibility. When design, procurement and construction sit with one party, there is no gap between them for a problem to fall into, and no dispute over whether a defect is a design fault or a construction fault. It also compresses the programme, because procurement can begin while design is still being finalised.
What is included in your EPC scope?
Engineering — structural, civil and the coordination of mechanical and electrical requirements; procurement of steel, sheeting, accessories and associated materials; and construction, covering fabrication and self-performed erection. The scope is defined project by project, and what sits inside and outside it should be written down before work starts.
When does EPC suit a project better than a supply-only contract?
When the owner does not have an in-house project team, when the schedule is tight enough that sequential contracting would cost months, or when the interfaces between building, foundations and services are complex enough that coordination is the main risk. A supply-only contract suits owners with their own contractor and consultant already in place.
How long does an EPC project take?
For a standard industrial building, roughly 12 weeks from consultation to completion — about 2 weeks design, 2 weeks engineering and approval, 4 weeks procurement and fabrication, and 4 weeks erection. Site conditions, foundation works and statutory approvals move the date more than fabrication does.
How is cost controlled on an EPC project?
By freezing the design basis early — clear span, clear height, floor loading, crane requirement and envelope specification — because these drive most of the cost and are expensive to change once fabrication has begun. Bulk procurement and a single coordinated programme remove the markups and idle time that separate contracts accumulate.
What information is needed to start?
The intended use of the facility, plot dimensions and orientation, the clear span and clear height required, floor loading, any crane requirement, the internal environment the process needs, and the site location for wind and seismic design. A soil investigation report is required before foundations can be designed.
Do you take responsibility for statutory approvals under EPC?
No. Kishore Infratech Private Limited does not file applications, liaise with departments or act as an approval agency, and this is not part of the EPC scope. We provide the structural drawings, design calculations and stamped documentation that your architect or licensed liaison consultant submits to the relevant authority.
What does an EPC project cost?
For standard industrial facilities, an indicative ₹1,400–2,200 per sq ft for the building, with specialised facilities carrying premiums for process requirements, clear height and envelope specification. These are planning estimates rather than quotations; a firm figure follows the design basis and the defined scope.
Who manages the site during construction?
Erection is self-performed with directly employed crews under our own project management, rather than subcontracted. That keeps schedule and safety accountability with the same organisation that designed and fabricated the structure, and means site feedback reaches the design team directly.
